Sexual Health

Pain, discomfort, or changes in sexual function are common—but they are not something you have to accept or ignore. Sexual health concerns often involve the pelvic floor, nervous system, and how the body manages tension and pressure, all of which pelvic physical therapy is trained to address.

Our Approach

We take a compassionate, whole-person approach to sexual health. Treatment may include pelvic floor relaxation and coordination, manual therapy, nervous system down-regulation, breath and pressure strategies, and education to help restore comfort, confidence, and pleasure—at a pace that feels safe and respectful.

We Treat:

Pain with penetration (dyspareunia)

Pelvic floor muscle tightness or overactivity

Vaginismus or difficulty with penetration

Pain with arousal or orgasm

Postpartum or post-surgical sexual pain

Sexual discomfort related to pelvic pain or hormonal changes
