Bladder Health

Leaks, urgency, or frequent bathroom trips are common—but they are not normal and not something you have to live with. Bladder symptoms often reflect underlying pelvic floor or pressure-management issues, and pelvic physical therapy can significantly improve control and confidence.

Our Approach

We address bladder symptoms by treating both the muscles and the nervous system. Care may include pelvic floor coordination and strengthening, bladder retraining strategies (such as timed voiding), breath and pressure management, and education to break urgency cycles—so bladder control improves without restriction or fear.

We Treat:

Stress incontinence with leaking during sneezing, laughing, coughing, or exercise

Urinary urgency with sudden, hard-to-delay urges

Urinary hesitancy or difficulty starting the urine stream

Frequent urination or needing to go more often than usual

Nocturia or waking at night to urinate

Incomplete emptying or the feeling that the bladder does not fully empty
